About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Backend Developer to help build and maintain both internal and client-facing software solutions. You’ll play a key role in designing scalable architectures, integrating databases, building APIs, and supporting our broader digital transformation efforts. You'll contribute to projects in business consulting, AI-agentic applications, and business process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend logic for internal and external applications and modules;
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs by using best practises;
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and external systems;
- Improve the security, scalability, and performance of the backend infrastructure;
- Collaborate with Frontend developers, Data, and AI/ML teams for full-stack alignment;
- Maintain and document existing systems.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development or a similar role;
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI / Django);
- Proficiency in a secondary language (e.g., Java, C#/.NET) is a plus;
- Proficiency in working with databases, e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.;
- Experience building and securing APIs (OAuth2, JWT, etc.);
- Understanding of software architecture and SOLID principles;
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience with cloud providers, e.g. AWS;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices;
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection standards;
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
