About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer – Team Lead to join our growing technology team. This role combines technical leadership and hands-on development, involving the coordination of a development team and active participation in building a complex AI-driven software platform that integrates multiple modules for business process management, automation, and data analytics. The position requires strong engineering expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of software developers
- Translate business requirements and architectural concepts into clear technical tasks
- Ensure high code quality through code reviews and engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with the software architect and product stakeholders
- Guide the team in solving technical challenges and making sound engineering decisions
- Support the planning and execution of development sprints
- Participate in designing scalable and maintainable backend systems
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
- Experience leading or mentoring software development teams
- Strong backend development experience using Python
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and web applications
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern design patterns
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with an additional programming language such as JavaScript, Go, or Java
- Experience with AI / Machine Learning systems
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with automation or digital transformation platforms
